ABOUT US
The Network of People Living with HIV and AIDS in Nigeria (NEPWHAN) is the umbrella body representing all people living with HIV (PLHIV) in Nigeria. Established in 1998 and formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2004, NEPWHAN serves as the collective voice of PLHIV, advocating for their rights, dignity, and access to quality healthcare and social support.
With branch offices in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, NEPWHAN operates through a nationwide structure of networks, support groups, and community-based organizations. These structures ensure that the voices of PLHIV are heard at every level — from local communities to national policy platforms.
