State Coordinator- 36 states + FCT
The Coordinator is the accounting officer of NEPWHAN in the state and its secretariat and shall among other duties perform the following tasks:
- Provides leadership and coordinates all NEPWHAN projects in the state
- Manage human and material resources in the state
- Supervise all programs and projects of NEPWHAN in the state
- Coordinate work plan development for all projects in the state
- Input into the staff recruitment for all NEPWHAN projects in the state
- Coordinate and approve support groups and network registration with NEPWHAN in the state
- Serve as a resource to all stakeholders in the project in the state
- Assign tasks, roles, and responsibilities to NEPWHAN staff as may be necessary within the state
- Carry out other tasks and duties
- Represent NEPWHAN in meetings within the state
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Sciences or other related disciplines.
- Previous work experience in Global Fund HIV/TB Grants
- 5 years of work experience in NGO/CBO or Int’l organizations setting
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, plus organizational and administrative skills
- Working knowledge of Care & Support in HIV interventions in Nigeria.
- Attentive to details, highly organized, and self-motivated.
State Program /Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
State program/ M&E officer – 36 states + FCT
HIV & RSSH/19 Grant
Responsibilities
- Support the development of strategic document data collection/tracking tools for project monitoring.
- Support to Identify and train M&E officers at state and support group levels on M&E.
- Responsible for providing technical support to the State/Support Group/CBO M&E officers.
- Collating reports from State/Support Groups/CBOs initiate review provide feedback and cast M&E Data generated from all Support Groups/CBO.
- Support the capacity building of SSRs (state M&E, Support group, and CBO M&E Officers) for improved data quality.
- Provide ongoing technical assistance to M&E assistants at the National, State, and support group offices.
- Participate in the development of M&E quarterly, monthly, and annual reports as well as generate monthly summary reports of all program areas from the State Networks into the data management software
- Participate in routine monitoring visits to project sites, including the conduct of data quality assurance using standard tools.
- Support daily administrative and technical project implementation
- Liaise with sub-recipients, consultants, partners, etc. for collection, collation, and analysis of field data and reports and forward same to the program manager.

- Train and educate volunteers on data collection and interpretation

- Give reports on activities being carried out by the program department as stipulated in the manual
- Organize Training/workshops on HIV/AIDS for staff and volunteers

Technical Specialist – AGYW
National Office – Abuja
Position Summary:
The Technical Specialist – AGYW will be responsible for technical oversight of the Adolescents Girls Young Women component of the NEPWHAN Global Fund program. This includes the design, implementation and monitoring of sound technical strategies and interventions targeting AGYW and HIV Prevention as well as ensuring integration of interventions with the other key program areas.
Essential Job Functions/ Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Serves as the lead technical expert on the delivery of prevention services to AGYW. S/He will provide expert guidance on appropriate technical and programmatic approaches for scale up of prevention and other sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services for AGYW.
· Lead interventions related to HIV Testing Services treatment, care, and support services for Adolescent Girls and Young Women.
· Provide oversight and support to Community Based Organizations to ensure layering of services for HIV prevention in AGYW.
· Recommends evidence-based improvements in the delivery of AGYW and Prevention services.
· Work with the PR and other SRs to ensure that AGYW interventions are fully integrated into the program design and activities, including monitoring and evaluation.
· Ensure engagement with civil society organizations representing the interest of key and vulnerable populations.
Minimum Requirements and Desired Qualifications:
· Degree in Medicine, Public Health, or any related field with 3 to 5 years post-NYSC experience.
· Experience implementing Adolescent, Girls and Young Women interventions with a reputable organization.
· Demonstrated experience in Global Fund HIV prevention programs targeted at vulnerable populations.
· Background in capacity building (training, mentoring, technical assistance provision) is an added asset.
Community PMTCT Officer
National Office- Abuja
Job Description
- The Community PMTCT Officer – PMTCT &Pediatrics/Adolescents is responsible for day-to-day support of the Health management teams (HMT) and the Health care providers in the provision of PMTCT, HIV/ AIDS care and treatment services for AYPs, pregnant and lactating women as well as their children and families with the community
- Any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirement:
- Degree in Medicine, B.Sc Degree in Nursing Officer / Higher Diploma in Nursing / Clinical Medicine (RH) with 3 years of continuous HIV program implementation or diploma in nursing/clinical medicine with 5 years of continuous HIV program implementation.
- Significant and up-to-date knowledge of the current ART, PMTCT, TB/HIV, HTC guidelines, standards, tools and best practices.
- Experience in HIV/AIDS care and treatment program implementation with demonstrated expertise in initiating care and treatment services in a public, faith based or private health facility.
- Demonstrated experience in organizing and facilitating training in HIV / AIDS prevention, care and treatment areas.
- Knowledge of Global Fund Program reporting requirements including familiarity with the data collection and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in computer.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, report writing and analytical skills.
- Dedicated team player with ability and experience to work in a multidisciplinary team.
