Job Title: M & E Assistant

Location: Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Project implementation: Providing support for the day-to-day implementation of a project’s M&E plan, activities, and deliverables
• Project progress: Assisting the M&E officer and Project Manager in preparing reports on project progress
• Project monitoring: Regularly monitoring project activities
• M&E system development: Developing M&E systems related to the program
• Performance indicators: Tracking performance indicators
• Data collection: Developing data collection tools and collecting data
• Data analysis and reporting: Analyzing and reporting data
• M&E is a continuous management function that assesses progress towards expected results, identifies implementation bottlenecks, and highlights any unintended effects of a project.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Sciences or other related disciplines.
• Previous work experience in Global Fund HIV/TB Grants
• 2 years’ work experience in NGO/CBO or Int’l organizations setting
• Excellent skills in Microsoft office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, plus organizational and administrative skills
• Working knowledge of Care & Support in HIV interventions in Nigeria.
• Attentive to details, highly organized and self-motivated.
